Claims Dramatic Watkins Glen Victory, Suffers Unusual Victory Lane Injury

Watkins Glen delivered high-speed thrills and shocking drama as Connor Zilisch scored his sixth NASCAR Xfinity Series win of the 2025 season. The 19-year-old phenom dominated the Mission 200 at The Glen, starting from pole position and leading an impressive 60 of 82 laps.

Zilisch’s pace was unmatched for much of the race. Despite late-race cautions and pressure from seasoned rivals, he kept control of the race, showing the precision and confidence that have made him one of the sport’s most exciting young stars. “CT scans for my head are clear, I just have a broken collarbone. Thankful for all the medics… grateful it wasn’t any worse.”
